Our best-in-class custodian and near-banking layer enables previously unattainable options for payments, asset management and access to products that can help enhance financial inclusion.

About First Digital and Finance District

First Digital is a Hong Kong-headquartered fintech and digital assets group, increasingly focused on the emerging AI and agentic economy. Our businesses include digital asset custody and trust services through First Digital Trust Limited, the FDUSD stablecoin issued by First Digital Labs, and Finance District — our Web3-native financial ecosystem at fd.xyz.

Finance District is a comprehensive on-chain financial ecosystem powered by FDUSD and governed by FDFI. Its products include Prism (the agentic payments backend), Agent Wallet, District Pass, the FDFI token, and Kredible. With over $2 trillion in cumulative transaction volume across the broader FDUSD network and integration across six major blockchains, Finance District sits at the intersection of stablecoin infrastructure, AI agents, and the next-generation digital economy.

About the Agentic AI Unit

The Agentic AI unit sits within FD Technologies Limited — First Digital's Hong Kong-based group technology subsidiary — under the Product department in the Technology Division. The unit is dedicated to building Finance District, including its AI-native capabilities. Finance District is the unit's primary business customer.

Commerce is shifting — AI agents that shop, compare, book, and pay on behalf of consumers are becoming the new channel, a shift comparable in scale to the desktop-to-mobile transition that reshaped ecommerce through the 2010s. The unit builds the rails for this shift: Prism (our payment gateway and primary revenue line), the Agent Wallet (the non-custodial wallet agents hold and use), the integration surfaces partners build on, and the wider Finance District product picture that ties them together.

Our vision is to make finance disappear into the things people actually care about — a person describes what they want, agents organise the commerce, the rails settle underneath. The consumer is the end game.

Role Purpose

The Senior Product Manager owns the product function for Finance District broadly — Prism, the Agent Wallet, the integration surfaces, and the wider Finance District product picture that the Agentic AI unit builds. You hold the roadmap, run the operating cadence across engineering, BD, QA, and marketing, and ship the work that compounds into the consumer destination Finance District is built for.

You will be the first senior PM hire of this generation of the unit. You will shape the roadmap, the prioritisation framework, and how product and engineering interlock. AI is in production use across the unit's workflow today; you will shape where it goes inside the product function.

Key Responsibilities

Roadmap and Cadence

  • Own the roadmap. Translate strategy into shipping product across the Finance District product surface — Prism, the Agent Wallet, the integration surfaces, and the wider product picture — sequenced against go-to-market and the consumer experience it ultimately enables
  • Run the cross-functional operating cadence — engineering, BD, QA, BA, marketing. You set direction and sequence; the teams own implementation
  • Prioritise ruthlessly. The unit has more opportunity than capacity, and your prioritisation framework determines what ships

Platform Capability for Volume

  • Build the platform capability that the Growth function converts into volume — deepen integrations across assistant builders and partner platforms
  • Expand the merchant control surface that turns one-time integrations into recurring volume
  • Hold a clear thesis on what drives volume in agentic commerce; revise it as evidence comes in

Consumer Lens

  • Hold the consumer experience in view at every product decision. The consumer is the end game; the partner, agent, and merchant are intermediate steps
  • Ship features that compound into a coherent consumer-grade experience over time

AI Coworker Pattern

  • Push the AI-coworker pattern further inside the product function. The human PM owns the decisions; AI compresses the work around them
  • Set the standard for how product, engineering, and AI agents interlock in the unit's workflow

How the Unit Works

AI is part of how the unit operates. Coworker agents pair with the human team on spec drafting, edge-case mapping, dependency tracking, and holding context across the roadmap. The human PM owns the decisions; AI compresses the work around them. If you already work this way — Claude or Cursor open, prompts iterated, agents tried — the setup will feel familiar.

Required Experience

  • 7–12 years in product management, with a track record of building and launching a new product from the ground up and driving it to market scale.
  • A domain that ladders into ours — payments, fintech, ecommerce, or crypto
  • Consumer-first instinct. You see the rails through the eyes of someone who never has to think about them
  • Cross-functional fluency. You bring the what and the why; engineering owns the how
  • Technical literacy. You are credible with engineering on API design, integration patterns, stablecoin and agent systems. You don't need to be an engineer
  • AI-fluent working habits. Claude, Cursor, or similar are already part of how you work. You can describe concretely how AI changes the work you do. Previous experience in environments that use AI coworkers is a strong plus
  • A point of view on agent-mediated commerce — what's hype, what's real, what 2027 looks like if this works. You'll be defending and revising it weekly
