About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer who will have strong knowledge of our existing systems . This role requires an individual who takes full ownership of acquiring and maintaining an in-depth understanding of our systems, contributing meaningfully to quality assurance at every level.

What you'll do:
- Take complete ownership of managing the feature's quality from refinement to release, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of system architecture, features, functionalities, and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality standards and ensure seamless integration of quality assurance into the development pipeline. At First Digital, our QA team members are involved at the onset of the SDLC process, not tail end - there are opportunities to clarify requirements from the get-go.
- Ensure alignment with existing QA processes to deliver exceptional product quality and reliability.
- Actively communicate with key stakeholders regarding identified issues, proposed solutions, and resolution timelines.
- Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights to improve system performance and stability.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and encouraging professional growth.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies related to system architecture and the crypto space to continually optimize quality assurance strategies.
- Able to work in the European time zone or adjust work hours to ensure maximum overlap with it.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a strong focus on system architecture understanding and crypto-related knowledge.
- Proven experience in test automation using Cypress with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proven experience in taking ownership of end-to-end quality assurance processes and driving quality improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating quality assurance processes into the deployment workflow.
- Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and industry-standard QA processes.
- Experience with RESTful API testing and database validation is a plus.
- Deep knowledge in the crypto space is a plus.
