Business Development Manager
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager Philippines, you will lead our expansion into employer-led and enterprise partnerships in the local market to scale our Financial Wellness offering, especially Earned Wage Access (EWA).
We have already identified a prioritized list of the top 50 companies in the Philippines that we want to partner with. Your primary focus will be to convert these priority accounts into signed and launched partnerships, while continuing to build a strong pipeline of additional local employers.
You will own the partnership lifecycle end-to-end: from initial outreach to contract signing and partner launch.
Given this role’s strategic importance, you will report directly to the Country Manager, with visibility to the CEO
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute FINN’s employer partnership strategy in the Philippines
- Drive engagement and deal execution with a pre-identified list of top 50 target companies in the Philippines
- Develop relationships with local HR, Payroll, Finance, and Operations leaders
- Leverage existing Philippine enterprise connections to accelerate discussions and shorten sales cycles
- Build and maintain a robust, reportable pipeline of Philippine employer opportunities
- Monitor Philippine fintech, HR tech, and employee benefits market trends
- Act as a feedback loop to product and leadership teams as the Philippines scales
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 3 to 6+ years of experience in a similar Business Development, Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales role in the Philippines
- Current or recent experience in B2B or B2B2C environment
- Proven track record of closing deals with Philippine companies
Strong Advantage
- Existing relationships with Philippine enterprises, especially HR, Payroll, Finance, or Operations teams
- Experience selling to or partnering with BPOs, large local employers, or multi-branch companies
- Background in fintech, HR tech, payroll, lending, or employee benefits
What Success Looks Like
- Discovery calls and NDAs signed with at least 5 companies during the first 30 days, leveraging existing connections
- 5 priority companies converted into signed and launched employer partnerships after 90-120 days
- Consistent pipeline coverage beyond the initial top 50 list
- Shortening of average sales cycle through strong local relationships
- High quality employer launches resulting to > 20% employee adoption
