Founded in 2022 by experienced serial entrepreneurs, we are building a financial platform that gives workers access to tools they’ve historically been excluded from - including early wage access, financial education, budgeting tools, micro-insurance, and new income opportunities. We’ve achieved strong product-market fit and rapid growth across the region.
As we scale from ~60 to 100+ employees, we are looking for a Head of Talent & People to build and lead our People function.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building our hiring engine, scaling our organization, and attracting and developing exceptional talent.
You will work closely with the founding and leadership team to build a high-performing organization and support the next phase of FINN’s growth.
Role Overview
The Head of Talent & People will be responsible for designing and scaling FINN’s People strategy as the company grows from ~60 to 200+ employees and beyond.
This role is primarily focused on building and scaling FINN’s hiring engine, while also establishing strong foundations across performance management, culture, and employee experience.
You will lead and develop the People team and partner closely with leadership on hiring, organizational design, and employee experience to ensure we have the right people, structures, and processes to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring Strategy (70%)
Hiring is one of the most critical drivers of FINN’s growth:
- Define and execute the company’s hiring strategy
- Partner with the founder and hiring managers on workforce planning
- Lead and manage the talent acquisition team
- Lead hiring for key and leadership roles
- Build strong pipelines across engineering, product, data, operations, and growth functions
- Use technology and AI to constantly increase efficiency and effectiveness across the TA journey
- Implement recruiting KPIs and scalable hiring processes
- Ensure a strong and consistent candidate experience
2. People Operations, Performance & Organizational Growth (20%)
Building scalable people processes that support employees and managers across the full lifecycle:
- Oversee onboarding and employee lifecycle management
- Ensure smooth people operations across contracts, documentation, and HR systems
- Implement scalable HR tools and people processes
- Build and continuously improve a strong performance management framework
- Establish career development and progression paths
- Implement compensation and leveling frameworks
- Support managers with feedback, development, and team performance
- Partner with leadership on organizational design, team structure, and scaling strategy
3. Culture, Engagement & Retention (10%)
Shaping a strong company culture as we scale.
You will:
- Strengthen FINN’s culture and values as we scale
- Design initiatives that strengthen collaboration across a distributed team
- Partner with leadership to drive performance and accountability
- Implement engagement and feedback systems
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Talent or People in fast-growing companies
- Experience scaling organizations from 50 → 200 employees
- Absolute excellence and constant drive to improve in talent acquisition
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on involvement
- Experience in building people operations processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience in remote or multi-country environments (SEA a plus)
