The Role

We are looking for an Awards Coordination Assistant to support The Banker’s industry award programmes.

You will play a key role in collecting and verifying contact information from financial institutions and engaging directly with industry professionals to encourage participation in The Banker’s global awards programmes.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage data accurately. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality internal datasets while helping to build awareness of The Banker’s brand across the global banking community.

This is a full time fixed-term contract opportunity ending on Friday August 28th 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target financial institutions relevant to The Banker’s awards programmes
  • Collect and verify contact information via phone and email in a professional and engaging manner
  • Build relationships with banking professionals to encourage programme participation
  • Maintain and update internal databases with accurate and structured information
  • Support outreach campaigns by promoting awareness of The Banker’s global brand
  • Provide administrative support to the editorial team as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling data
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Proactive and professional approach when conducting outreach
  • Comfortable working with databases or CRM systems

Desirable

  • Interest in financial services or the banking sector
  • Experience in data collection, research or customer engagement roles
  • Familiarity with working in a fast-paced editorial or commercial environment
