FT Specialist; specialist insight and global intelligence from the Financial Times. FT Specialist is made up of 17 brands, created by 410 people around the world. We provide niche audience groups with information that helps them take better decisions and operate more effectively.
The role
Join our team as a Marketing Executive for FT Specialist Europe. You will support our portfolio of brands in, financial advising, banking, sustainable finance, private investing, and other sectors. Your role is essential in implementing B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to drive data, subscriptions, and leads, while maintaining strong renewal rates for our high-value subscription products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, manage, and analyse marketing campaigns in collaboration with Senior Marketing Executives, across channels such as email, digital display, print, PPC, paid and organic social media, partnerships, and events.
- Adopt a data-driven approach to campaigns using our customer data platform, Bloomreach, ensuring compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy regulations.
- Monitor and manage paid marketing channels to ensure alignment with allocated budgets.
- Support the organisation and execution of internal and external events, including workshops, exhibition stands, and global events to generate leads for subscriptions.
- Collaborate in monthly cross-functional meetings to share ideas, improve workflows, and enhance team collaboration.
- Work with FT Creative Studio to produce marketing collateral and graphics that adhere to brand guidelines.
- Contribute to campaigns aimed at improving renewal rates, including CRM programme management, content and marketing emails, and subscriber engagement strategies.
- Stay informed about sector trends, including brand new AI tools and digital marketing innovations, ensuring strategies remain innovative.
- Evaluate campaign performance and generate reports following campaigns, emphasising metrics such as value, cost per lead, and cost per acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and FT policies for all marketing activities.
- Craft marketing copy that aligns with FT's tone of voice and copywriting guidelines.

- Demonstrable experience in planning and completing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach, with proficiency in marketing tools.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative and impactful copywriting.
- An ability to adapt quickly to evolving trends in digital marketing, including AI innovations.
- Great teammate with a proactive attitude and dedication to collaboration.
