Liaison Intern (Liaison team - Toronto, Canada)

What is your role? Based at the Broadcast Information Office (BIO) in the stadium and relaying venue information/content to the Liaison team based at the International Broadcast Centre (IBC).
What are your responsibilities? Assist the key people from the Liaison Team.
Broadcast Information Manager (BIM):
- Distribute general event/venue information and updates.
- Inform broadcasters about the location and setup of their booked facilities within the stadium.
- Assist with Broadcast Booking Tickets/Access (BBTs), according to the Booking confirmations, for distribution to the designated broadcasters.
FIFA Media Partnerships Services Manager (MPSM), Senior Broadcast Liaison Officers (SBLOs) and Broadcast Liaison Officers (BLOs):
- Acting as first point of contact for Media Partners (MPs) at each venue who require local information and tips.
- Liaise with the Media Department at each site to ensure that broadcasters receive the same information as the press journalists.
- Providing support to MPs’ on-site unilateral operations.
- Labelling unilateral positions, timing interviews where needed, etc.

Required availability: June-July 2026
Training/onboarding: Training by Booking & Liaison Management. Practical Training on site by BIM/Liaison Team on the interns’ first working day.
Your background: Media/Broadcast & Communication, Foreign Languages, International Relations, Sports Management
Skills needed for this role:
- Fluent English, another language will be an asset, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Service oriented/dedicated
- Good organisational skills and ability to maintain a high level of concentration
- Work in high pressure environment
