Risk Analyst

About the Role:

This role is responsible for assessing credit risk, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. You will analyze borrower data, develop risk models, and provide insights to support sound lending decisions and sustainable portfolio growth.

What You Will Do:

Credit Risk Assessment

  • Analyze loan applications, borrower profiles, and financial statements to assess creditworthiness.
  • Develop and maintain risk scoring models and evaluation criteria for customer assessment.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to estimate potential credit losses.

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor portfolio performance, including delinquency, default, and recovery rates.
  • Prepare risk dashboards and periodic reports, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Identify early warning indicators and recommend preventive or corrective measures.

Policy & Compliance

  • Support the design and implementation of credit risk policies, procedures, and risk limits.
  • Ensure adherence to internal risk frameworks and external regulatory requirements (e.g., OJK/POJK in Indonesia).
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to address findings and strengthen controls.

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, credit analysis, or related roles within a bank, fintech, or lending institution.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and statistical data.
  • Proficiency in risk modeling, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or BI platforms.
  • High attention to detail, with strong integrity and a sense of accountability.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
