Compliance Officer (P2P Lending)

About the Role
We are looking for an attentive and organized Compliance Officer to uphold our company’s commitment to legal and regulatory excellence. This role is central to ensuring we meet industry standards, safeguard against risks, and foster a culture of ethical conduct. As a Compliance Officer, you will work cross-functionally to develop and implement compliance programs, monitor for regulatory adherence, and help guide our P2P lending operations to uphold the highest standards of integrity.

What You Will Do:

  • Create, refine, and enforce policies and procedures that align with legal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify potential compliance issues and work proactively to mitigate risks.
  • Regularly audit operations and transactions to ensure adherence to internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of compliance obligations and best practices across departments.
  • Manage internal investigations of compliance breaches and prepare reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Stay current on evolving regulations and legal changes that impact P2P lending and communicate necessary updates to relevant teams.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a regulatory compliance, ideally within P2P lending or the financial services industry.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Law or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal frameworks, industry regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly convey compliance requirements across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
