About The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Senior Legal Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice and support across various aspects of the business, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing risks, and handling legal matters such as contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

What You Will Do:

  • Legal Advice & Support: Offer legal counsel to management and other departments on compliance, regulatory issues, contracts, employment law, and litigation.

  • Contracts: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and legal agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, partnership contracts, and more.

  • Corporate Governance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal standards, and best practices. Support corporate governance and board matters.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies. Advise on the legal implications of business strategies, actions, and decisions.

  • Compliance: Ensure that company policies and procedures align with local, national, and international laws, with a focus on employment law, data protection (GDPR, etc.), and relevant industry regulations.

  • Intellectual Property: Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.

  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Support legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3-4 years of professional experience as a legal practitioner, ideally within a corporate or in-house environment.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Law or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the payments industry and knowledge of Bank Indonesia (BI) regulations is preferred.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of core legal principles, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven ability to work effectively across teams.

  • Adaptable, flexible, and team-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
