Why this role matters
As a Junior Legal Administrator, you will support the Corporate Legal team with administrative and compliance-related tasks, ensuring accurate maintenance of corporate records, proper documentation of corporate governance matters, and smooth execution of statutory processes.
This role provides practical experience in corporate legal administration and compliance, giving exposure to statutory filings, governance procedures, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll actually do
- Assist in maintaining and organizing corporate records, statutory registers, and company files (both electronic and physical).
- Support the preparation of draft corporate documents such as board resolutions, minutes, powers of attorney, and standard corporate forms.
- Perform basic legal and regulatory research related to corporate governance matters.
- Assist with document collection and coordination with external advisors, regulators, and service providers.
- Maintain and update corporate databases and document management systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Legal team.
Who we’re looking for
- Strong interest in corporate governance, compliance, or legal administration.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to follow instructions under supervision.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Good communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice to have:
- Previous exposure to corporate legal administration or internships in legal/compliance teams.
- Basic understanding of corporate governance principles.
- Experience with document management systems or databases.
