Why this role matters
As a Payments Project Administrator Intern, you will support the delivery of strategic and technical initiatives within the Payments function. You will help ensure that projects are well-organized, clearly communicated, and progressing according to plan, enabling the team to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in payments, project coordination, and Agile delivery while collaborating with internal stakeholders across multiple teams.
What you'll actually do
- Support the maintenance and improvement of the Payments portfolio dashboard.
- Ensure Jira boards and tasks are accurate, up-to-date, and well-structured.
- Schedule, attend, and support project meetings, including preparation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items.
- Assist with project and program communication with internal stakeholders.
- Support department planning and coordination activities.
- Help coordinate project activities across teams as needed.
- Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and project documentation.
- Track progress of action plans and provide updates to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and forward-thinking within the team.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed (Business, Management, IT, Finance, or related field).
- Basic understanding of project management concepts and Agile methodologies.
- Interest in payments, fintech, or technology-driven financial services.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or data tracking.
- Knowledge of PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile fundamentals.
- Exposure to online payments, risk, or fintech projects.
