Why this role matters
As an Intern Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems, focusing on security-oriented backend solutions. You will assist in integrating technical solutions with business needs to optimize efficiency while ensuring data protection and system integrity.
You will work closely with IT, Security, and business teams to understand requirements and support the delivery of effective and resilient system solutions. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to develop your analytical, technical, and security-focused skills while supporting critical business processes.
- Assist in analyzing business processes and requirements to identify improvement opportunities and potential security risks.
- Help maintain communication with stakeholders by providing project status updates and gathering feedback on functional and security requirements.
- Assist in preparing specifications describing technical implementation of requirements, including security controls, integration flows, data models, and UI specifications.
- Participate in solution and system design while collaborating with developers and solution architects.
- Assist in preparing technical and user documentation for services developed by your team.
- Participate in basic threat modeling sessions to identify potential system vulnerabilities at the design stage.
Who we’re looking for
Basic requirements:
- Higher education (Bachelor’s degree) in progress or completed in Business, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with systems analysis methodologies and techniques.
- Understanding of basic project management principles and practices.
- Ability to document and analyze business processes and technical specifications.
- Basic understanding of information security principles (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Web Services, REST API, and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of integration processes.
- Knowledge of notations such as UML.
