Your role at Exness:

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer (Internship) to join our Data department. Together with the team, you will architect, develop and maintain a scalable Streaming Data Platform for internal and external clients. The platform is used by dozens of teams within Exness to process petabytes of real-time data. This is a great opportunity to work with a modern Big Data technology stack.

You will:

• Assist in building real-time data pipelines, integration, and enrichment services;
• Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines;
• Help our on-call engineers with debugging and troubleshooting;
• Collaborate and learn: work with senior Java / Python engineers and get hands-on experience with data streaming technologies.

The Ideal Intern:

• Higher education (Bachelor degree) in progress or completed, in a related field;
• Passionate about the world of Big Data;
• Interest to work with streaming data processing technologies (for example, we extensively use Apache Kafka and Apache Flink);
• Basic knowledge of at least one backend programming language: Java, Python, Golang. Desire to learn Java;
• Interest in trading / finance is a plus;
• Detail-oriented and passionate about data quality;
• Fluent written and spoken English.
