Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a hands-on operational role focused on day-to-day accounting activities. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with structured processes, has a methodical approach, and consistently delivers accuracy and attention to detail. In addition to core Finance responsibilities, the successful candidate will occasionally support the team with administrative back-office tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Record domestic and international supplier invoices (accounts payable).
• Record bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage the accounts payable cycle.
• Apply the appropriate tax treatments and support routine tax compliance activities.
• Provide support for administrative back-office tasks.
• Occasionally manage company purchases (e.g., laptops, hotels, services, and other business supplies), coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records.

 

Requirements

• At least 3 years of previous experience in an accounting role.
• Solid experience processing both domestic and international supplier invoices.
• Proven experience with bank reconciliations and general accounting entries.
• Good knowledge of Italian tax regulations and the main VAT regimes.
• Hands-on experience managing the accounts payable process.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent professional English (written and spoken) is required, with the ability to communicate confidently in an international business environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS companies or international business environments.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials, or equivalent.
• Experience with consolidation processes and month-end closing entries (management accounting) is a plus

Salary range:

€30K–€40K
