You will work on end-to-end network tasks: from new site and provider connectivity to validation, troubleshooting, and performance bottleneck analysis. The role is focused on low-latency and performance-sensitive environments and involves close collaboration with vendors, carriers, systems and hardware engineers.
What You’ll be doing
- Design, build, and operate network connectivity for trading infrastructure across colocation sites and regions
- Deliver end-to-end network setups: cross-connects, routing, validation testing, and go-live readiness
- Investigate and resolve complex network issues affecting latency, jitter, packet loss, or reliability
- Identify and address bottlenecks across the stack together with systems and hardware engineers
- Support timing-sensitive networking (PTP/NTP): bring-up, validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Work on connectivity to cloud providers
- Improve repeatability through automation, templates, and tooling
- Contribute to operational readiness: runbooks, checklists, incident reviews (RCA), inventory and documentation
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support network operations and incident response
What we look for in you:
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting production networks, Linux and NGFW
- Solid understanding of routing and switching fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, L2/L3 design)
- Good understanding of how networks impact system and application performance
- Ability to work end-to-end and collaborate across domains (systems, hardware, vendors)
- Automation mindset; scripting experience (Python/Bash) is a plus
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in low-latency or performance-sensitive environments (trading, exchanges, market data)
- Colocation and provider connectivity experience (cross-connects, optics, acceptance testing)
- Experience with cloud connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Cloud Interconnect, etc.)
- PTP/NTP experience and understanding of timing-related failure modes
- CCNP-level (CCNP SP / CCNP DC / CCNP Ent knowledge or equivalent hands-on experience
Why should you join our team?
- Exciting challenges with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth
- A welcoming international team of highly qualified professionals
- Cutting-edge hardware and technology
- Work remotely from anywhere in the world
- Access any of our global offices anytime
