Associate, EMEA Marketing
EQT is looking for an Associate, EMEA Marketing to join the EMEA Marketing team and play a meaningful role in bringing EQT's brand and investment story to life across the region. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded, organised marketing professional with experience in asset or wealth management to contribute to high-impact regional and local marketing programmes that build awareness, deepen audience engagement, and support capital raising across private wealth channels.
About the Team
The EMEA Marketing team drives the strategic positioning and brand execution of EQT across Europe, the Middle East, and the UK. Working in close partnership with client coverage, investment teams, and global marketing colleagues, the team delivers regional and local marketing initiatives that build awareness and engagement with private wealth and institutional audiences across EQT's priority markets. The team is part of EQT's broader global Brand & Marketing function — a purpose-driven group that spans offices across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and collaborates closely with investment, client relations, product, and technology functions.
About the Role
As an Associate, EMEA Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of EQT's marketing presence across EMEA, partnering closely with the Head of Marketing, EMEA, local distribution partners, and cross-functional colleagues to translate business objectives into impactful marketing programmes. You will manage local marketing plans, coordinate campaigns across channels, and support commercial goals across priority markets.
Contribute to the development and execution of EMEA regional and local marketing strategies across priority markets, tailoring activity to local audience needs including translation and transcreation of communications and assets.
Build and manage local marketing plans that coordinate activity across content, social, web, email, paid media, and sponsorships, tracking delivery against agreed objectives.
Partner with local distributors to design and deliver joint marketing programmes that support audience engagement and capital raising across private wealth channels.
Identify and evaluate local opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships, conferences, and events, supporting their planning and on-the-ground execution.
Collaborate with the events team to coordinate and deliver virtual and in-person EQT-hosted events across the region.
Manage the EMEA marketing calendar, monitor campaign performance, and propose data-informed recommendations to continuously improve impact and effectiveness.
Drive marketing projects through internal approval workflows including legal, compliance, and partner firm review processes, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
Work with internal teams to amplify educational content for private wealth audiences across the region.
About You
You are a proactive and well-organised marketing professional who is motivated to build a career in private markets and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You bring a balance of creative thinking, commercial awareness, and operational discipline that enables you to manage complex projects while keeping sight of broader business goals.
What you'll bring (must-have):
Proven experience of five or more years in client, product, or regional and local marketing, preferably within asset management or wealth management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering marketing programmes on time and to a high standard.
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing needs, and maintain quality under pressure.
Familiarity with cross-functional ways of working, including navigating compliance and legal review processes.
Experience working across multiple markets or in partnership with local distribution teams.
Nice to have:
Proficiency in one or more European languages relevant to EQT's priority markets, such as Italian, French, or German, in addition to English.
Experience coordinating sponsorships, partnerships, conferences, or events in a marketing context.
Familiarity with private wealth distribution channels and the marketing dynamics of alternative asset classes.
