About the Finance Tech team
The Finance Tech value stream partners closely with finance and corporate functions across EQT to deliver scalable, data-driven, and user-focused technology solutions. The team works across areas including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Group & Fund Finance, Tax, Travel & Expense, Legal, and HR, helping modernize processes and improve decision-making through automation, integrations, and AI-enabled tools.
Working at the intersection of business and technology, the team combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to create solutions that support EQT’s continued growth and operational excellence.
About the role
As Product Manager – Finance & Corporate Functions, you will own and drive the roadmap for a portfolio of internal finance and corporate systems. You will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that priorities, solutions, and delivery plans align with business goals and create measurable value.
You will work closely with finance leadership, process owners, engineers, and external partners to identify opportunities for transformation, improve existing processes, and implement scalable technology solutions that support the evolving needs of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage strategic roadmaps for finance and corporate systems transformation.
- Translate business objectives into a prioritized product backlog and clear delivery plans.
- Define measurable success metrics and outcomes for your product area.
- Partner with finance and corporate stakeholders to understand operational needs and improvement opportunities.
- Lead steering meetings and communicate progress, priorities, and risks across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technology teams to identify, configure, build, and improve solutions across finance and corporate platforms.
- Oversee the delivery of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of existing systems, integrations, and workflows.
- Support the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Mentor and support junior product managers and contribute to a strong product culture across the organization.
About you
You are a collaborative and commercially minded product professional who enjoys working across business and technology teams to solve complex challenges. You bring a structured and hands-on approach, balancing strategic thinking with practical execution. You are comfortable navigating change, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
Essential experience and skills
- Proven experience in product management, finance systems transformation, or a related field.
- Experience working with finance or corporate systems across areas such as FP&A, accounting, tax, HR, legal, or expense management.
- Strong understanding of system implementation, configuration, integrations, and ongoing product maintenance.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with business process mapping and optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- Experience within private equity, financial services, or a global professional services environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Kyriba, Anaplan, or similar systems.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, workflow automation, or modern integration platforms.
- Coding knowledge or experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on integrations and configurations.
- Experience mentoring or supporting more junior product managers.
