About the team

The Capital Raising Operations team is part of Fund Operations, a global unit within EQT’s Central Functions. We are looking for an experienced Associate to support new fundraises in Private Wealth Management (PWM) from an operational perspective. The team works closely with several internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class service and provide high-quality support to EQT’s investors.

We focus on continuous improvement—streamlining internal processes, enhancing client communication, and leading or supporting various internal projects. We also collaborate with specialist teams across EQT to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory requirements in the alternative fund management industry. This role collaborates closely with teams in Stockholm and across EQT’s global offices.

About the role

As a Capital Raising Operations Professional, you will lead and coordinate operational processes tied to new fundraises, with a focus on EQT’s open-ended and semi-liquid fund structures. You’ll be a key point of contact for internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth investor onboarding, efficient platform integration and a high level of client service. You’ll also help identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead operational sales discussions with clients alongside EQT’s Capital Raising team.

  • Coordinate distributor and platform onboarding processes.

  • Guide investors through product terms and onboarding documentation.

  • Partner with legal and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment.

  • Review and support distribution agreements (operational sections).

  • Act as the main liaison with transfer agents, managing all trade order types (i.e. Subscriptions/Redemptions etc.) and communications.

  • Oversee trading platform setup and monthly trade monitoring.

  • Handle investor queries and client service tasks.

  • Drive improvements to onboarding processes and digital enablement.

  • Contribute to internal projects and operational product developments.

About you

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in collaborative environments and has a strong service mindset. You’re structured, quality-focused and able to manage competing priorities with confidence.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in private equity, asset management, transfer agency services or a similar role.

  • Familiarity with European trading platforms, fund distribution infrastructure, and automated trading processes.

  • Strong knowledge of Trade processing (subscriptions/Redemptions)

  • Solid understanding of investor onboarding processes within Transfer Agency, including account setup, KYC/AML requirements, and documentation workflows.

  • Hands-on experience leading projects, including defining scope, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring successful delivery.

What we offer

  • A unique opportunity in one of EQT’s fastest-growing areas.

  • Work alongside a team of passionate and highly skilled professionals.

  • A dynamic, international environment with cross-border collaboration.

  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.

  • A chance to shape the operational future of fundraising at EQT.
