Fund Control Vice President

About the Fund Control team
The Fund Control team sits within EQT’s global Finance function and plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely fund reporting and financial oversight. We work closely with external fund administrators, auditors and internal stakeholders across investment, legal and operations teams to support our private capital and real assets funds. The team is based in Luxembourg, working as part of an international setup with close collaboration across geographies.
About the role
This role offers the opportunity to lead and review key fund control activities while helping to shape tools and processes that support EQT’s growth. You will be responsible for managing relationships with third-party providers, reviewing fund reporting outputs and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. The role is hands-on and collaborative, working closely with global teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and review the work of external Fund Administrators to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee accurate recording and reporting of fund transactions, including investments and divestments.
- Review fund accounting data, financial statements and investor capital accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors to support smooth audit completion in line with partnership agreement deadlines.
- Liaise with internal teams such as investment, legal, compliance and investor relations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of fund processes and systems.
- Lead or support ad hoc and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or audit, preferably from a Big Four firm or financial institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Familiarity with international accounting standards and fund structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
- Experience leading complex accounting deliverables or projects.
Nice to have
- Experience with open-ended fund structures.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA.
