Fund Treasury Associate

About the Fund Treasury Team

The Fund Treasury team is part of EQT’s broader Fund Operations unit, a global function within EQT Central Functions. Our mission is to deliver efficient, scalable and compliant fund-related operations while supporting EQT’s customers and stakeholders with excellence. As part of the Investment Services team, Fund Treasury is responsible for ensuring strategic alignment and best-in-class execution across all fund liquidity-related operations globally. The team plays a pivotal role in EQT’s continued growth and success.

About the role

As a Fund Treasury Associate, you will help manage and structure liquidity for EQT’s alternative investment funds. You’ll work closely with teams across EQT, including Portfolio Management, Fund Control, Agent Banks and external partners, to ensure effective planning and execution of liquidity events. This is a hands-on and analytical role where you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of EQT’s cash management and liquidity forecasting practices. This individual will report to one of the Head of Liquidity Management of Fund Treasury.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Monitor and structure liquidity needs for alternative investment funds
• Translate investment pipeline and debt constraints into actionable liquidity planning
• Conduct detailed cash flow forecasting and support strategic liquidity decision-making
• Responsible for adjacent carry and co-invest structures liquidity planning and management
• Involved in FX deals
• Recommend optimal bridge facility sizes and cash strategies
• Own the prioritization and transparency of capital events across key stakeholders
• Drive efficiency in the cash management process across all investor levels
• Continuously evaluate and develop the function to meet future needs

Desired skills and experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, treasury or a similar financial role
• University degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of alternative investment funds and treasury principles
• Experience with legal documents and financial agreements
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with numbers and models
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proven ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Experience in international environments within financial services is a plus
