About the role 

We are looking for a Learning Designer / Project Leader who will help us redefine and elevate learning at EQT. While our current model relies heavily on external training vendors, we aim to move beyond standardized solutions—ensuring learning is seamlessly embedded into real business challenges and delivers lasting impact to support a global workforce across a hybrid environment.

This role is a blend of strategy and execution: You will design, lead, and execute learning experiences that drive behavioral change and measurable business outcomes. Working closely with global stakeholders across our investment teams and central functions, you will shape learning initiatives that resonate within EQT’s high-performance environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-create innovative learning journeys with EQT’s internal leaders and external vendors to develop EQT-specific, high-impact training programs.
  • Project manage the development and implementation of new learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Apply action research methodologies to test and refine learning strategies based on measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of learning programs, using data and feedback to enhance impact.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in leadership development, behavioral science, and neuroscience to continuously innovate our learning approach.
  • Drive integration of learning into the business, ensuring knowledge transfer translates into real-world performance improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of EQT, ensuring learning solutions are relevant, impactful, and scalable.

About You

You are a strategic yet hands-on learning expert, passionate about bridging the gap between learning and business performance. You are comfortable working at both the conceptual and execution levels, ensuring that great ideas translate into actionable, measurable results.

You thrive in a high-intensity, international environment and have a strong belief in the human ability to learn, grow, and excel. You enjoy working across disciplines and seniority levels to create collaborative, high-impact learning experiences

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in learning design and project management, ideally in leadership development, L&D, or consulting.
  • Strong ability to link learning to business impact, ensuring initiatives drive measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in behavioral science, in neuroscience or action research applied to learning and development.
  • Ability to co-create learning solutions in collaboration with business leaders and external vendors.
  • Experience managing multiple learning initiatives in a global, high-performance environment.
  • A hands-on, execution-driven mindset—this role is about delivering results, not just designing frameworks.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with global L&D vendors and leadership development providers.
  • Background in psychology, neuroscience, or related fields relevant to adult learning and behavior change.
  • Familiarity with action research methodologies to continuously test and improve learning strategies.
