Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve pricing, discounting, commercial terms, payment structures, and deal exceptions within established approval frameworks.

  • Partner with Sales to structure creative, compliant deal solutions that meet customer needs while protecting margin and long-term value.

  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, RevOps, and Product to ensure accurate quoting, contract compliance, and proper revenue treatment.

  • Own and continuously improve deal desk processes, approval matrices, and documentation to ensure scalable workflows.

  • Analyze deal metrics (discounting, deal velocity, approval turnaround, win/loss drivers) and surface actionable insights for leadership.

  • Support leadership with deal-related insights, escalations, and recommendations on high-impact opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, or a related role in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Proven experience supporting complex, enterprise-level SaaS deals.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, contract structures, and sales motions.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to balance precision and speed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel / Google Sheets).

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Experience working in Salesforce (required) and familiarity with CPQ tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud marketplace transactions.

  • Experience with usage-based, consumption-based, or hybrid SaaS pricing models.

  • Familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).

  • Experience building or scaling deal desk functions in early or growth-stage companies.

  • Background in consulting, investment banking, or strategic finance.

  • Experience creating deal playbooks, pricing guidelines, or sales enablement materials.
