Product QA Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Mission:

As part of our DevOps culture, you ensure the quality and performance of our enmacc platform and own the approval process of new product functionality. We are seeking a proactive and highly collaborative Product Quality Engineer (PQE) to join our dynamic team and champion this mission. This role represents an evolution from traditional Quality Assurance, embedding quality practices deeply within the entire product development lifecycle. You'll thrive in our fast-paced Agile environment by engaging early and continuously with Product Management and Engineering to build quality in from the start. 

Your Responsibilities / What you’ll do:

  • Ensure the high quality and performance of our enmacc platform throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Own the approval process for new platform functionality, ensuring features meet quality standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Actively participate in early product development phases (requirements, design) to embed quality and testability from the start (Shift-Left).
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and DevOps within your Agile/Scrum team, participating actively in all team ceremonies.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on risk assessment and requirements analysis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test suites (e.g., UI, API) in collaboration with developers, integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover usability issues and edge cases.
  • Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs, performing root cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
  • Autonomously maintain and continuously enhance test environments and regression test suites.
  • Define, track, and report on key quality metrics (KPIs) to provide visibility and drive continuous improvement in quality processes.
  • Stay current with QA trends, evaluating and potentially implementing new tools and techniques, including AI-powered solutions, to enhance testing effectiveness.

Your profile / What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in QA 
  • University studies in Computer Science or in similar fields
  • ISTQB certification
  • Knowledge of Software QA methodologies and processes
  • Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and be passionate about QA
  • Hands-on experience with UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Strong web application fundamentals (HTTP, REST)
  • Basic Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript experience and understanding
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies
