YOUR MISSION

Legal engineering is becoming an essential part of our Legal team and you will play a key role in developing how we use technology, automation, and AI across all our legal and compliance workflows. You’ll support the full spectrum of our work, gain insight into everything the legal department does, and help us operate smarter by reducing routine work and enabling the team to focus on truly complex legal topics.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your focus will be on supporting the legal team on all matters and driving legal engineering within the team, supported by experienced colleagues, modern tools, and clear guidance. You will:

Use AI to modernize legal work

  • Work with advanced AI and automation tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, n8n, and a no-code platform) to explore better ways of handling recurring legal tasks.
  • Push AI use where it adds value  reducing noise, speeding up analysis, and improving how we manage information.

Help design and improve legal processes

  • Analyze and streamline workflows such as NDA generation, KYC processes, and regulatory filings.
  • Implement enhancements through low-code/no-code automation, templating, and data structuring.

Support regulatory and compliance operations

  • Work on real FinTech-related regulatory topics: BaFin requests, KYC/AML procedures, audit prep, and more.
  • Support compliance efforts across frameworks like DORA, GDPR, AI Act, and cybersecurity.

Contribute to legal strategy and operations

  • Assist in solving new legal challenges by structuring information, identifying risks, and proposing efficient solutions.
  • Support teams across enmacc with clear, actionable input on legal and compliance matters.

Hands-on legal work

  • Conduct legal research, prepare concise summaries, draft documents, and help maintain legal documentation.
  • Optionally connect this work to your thesis if desired.

 

YOUR PROFILE/ WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  •  You currently study German/European law (Rechtswissenschaften/ Wirtschaftsrecht) 
  •  Are driven, curious, and hungry to make an impact in the real world
  •  Geek out over business law, capital markets, and financial regulation
  •  Write and speak with precision – in German and English
  •  Love fast-moving environments and want to help shape the legal backbone of a tech-first company
  •  Are structured, analytical, and thrive on solving complex problems
  •  Are MS Office fluent and not afraid to dive into new tools or platforms (yes, of course we use AI)
