Head of Payment Service Provider (PSP)

Energame is a management consultancy and an investment advisory firm specialized in online entertainment.

We manage the development and growth of a diverse range of clients within the iGaming sector, encompassing areas of sports betting, gambling, cybersport, fantasy sports, IT platform solutions, and content production worldwide.

We are looking for a talented Head of Payment Service Provider (PSP) to join our team.

From casino to fintech and payments, our clients cover all industries and have custom solutions that are brought together with the latest and most secure technology. The successful candidate will lead the payment operations and drive our continued growth in the industry.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic vision for the PSP department in alignment with company goals and industry trends;
  • Managing and leading a team of payment professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve department objectives;
  • Overseeing payment processing activities, including deposit and withdrawal processes, fraud prevention, and chargeback management;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including finance, compliance, and customer support, to optimize payment processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external payment providers and partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure the availability of a wide range of payment options;
  • Monitoring industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and potential risks for the company's payment operations;
  • Continuously improve payment-related systems, processes, and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and user experience;
  • Implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect sensitive payment data and prevent fraud;
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on payment performance, KPIs, and strategy.

Essential professional experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payment operations, with a strong background in the i-gaming/payments solutions industry;
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of payment professionals;
  • In-depth knowledge of payment processing, including payment methods, regulations, and compliance requirements;
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with payment providers and partners;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and make data-driven decisions.
