Tax Manager

Energame is a management consultancy and an investment advisory firm specialized in online entertainment.

We manage the development and growth of a diverse range of clients within the iGaming sector, encompassing areas of sports betting, gambling, cybersport, fantasy sports, IT platform solutions, and content production worldwide.

We are looking for a talented Tax Manager to join our team. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tax structures to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations;
• Oversee tax compliance to ensure accurate and timely filings of all tax obligations;
• Monitor legislative changes that could impact tax strategies and structures;
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and consultants to ensure that the company’s tax strategies are robust and effective;
• Manage tax risk by identifying potential areas of exposure and developing mitigation strategies;
• Provide tax expertise on transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;
• Develop and maintain internal controls over tax-related processes to prevent inaccuracies and non-compliance;
• Advise on tax implications of business decisions and proposed changes to business operations.

Essential professional experience:

• Expertise in designing tax-efficient structures while ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
• Strong oversight abilities to manage tax compliance, ensuring all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time;
• Keen awareness of legislative changes to proactively adjust tax strategies and structures accordingly;
• Effective coordination with external tax advisors and consultants to validate and strengthen the company’s tax strategies;
• Risk management skills to identify tax exposures and develop appropriate mitigation strategies;
• Specialized knowledge in providing tax guidance on complex transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures;
• Development and maintenance of robust internal controls over tax processes to ensure accuracy and compliance;
• Strategic advisory skills to counsel on the tax implications of business decisions and operational changes;
• Candidates should have a background in tax law or accounting, with professional qualifications like an ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience with tax software and strong analytical skills are also important.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization are essential.
