Management Accountant
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations, with direct inputs to our month-end close, financial reporting, and supporting the wider business with insightful financial analysis.
You’ll work closely with the VP of Finance of the UK Group to ensure reporting is timely and accurate, and the finance function continues to evolve with the needs of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working across functions, and can manage competing priorities with confidence.
Please note: This is a permanent role and requires you to attend the office, 5 days a week (Mon to Fri, 9am - 6pm) - Based in Euston, London.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Support the Finance team in delivering timely, accurate financial insights for the UK Group of companies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment runs, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
- Oversee vendor management and support procurement processes (source-to-pay), ensuring supplier onboarding, contracts, and terms are aligned with company policies.
- Partner with operational teams to support purchasing, purchase order approvals, and adherence to budget controls.
- Analyse results and provide variance explanations against budget/forecast.
- Prepare regular cashflow forecasts and monitor actual cash movements against forecast.
- Assist with VAT returns, statutory filings, and compliance reporting.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to connect financial analysis to statutory reporting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders across the business.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Desirable Skills & Experience (not essential):
- Prior experience in healthcare, tech, or SaaS environments.
- Experience working within or interacting with the NHS.
- Familiarity with NetSuite (ERP) or similar systems.
- Exposure to intercompany accounting and consolidations
