Job Summary
The Director of Professional Services leads a hybrid team of Solutions Consultants and Project Managers who deliver Nakisa AI SaaS solutions to Fortune-1000 clients. You will own the full services lifecycle from kickoff to customer value, manage services P&L, and partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to keep every deployment on time, on budget, and reference-worthy. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership, influence over cross-functional strategy, and a clear growth path in a fast-scaling SaaS company.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align service offerings with market demand.
Own Professional Services P&L, set quarterly OKRs, and present margin and billable-utilization KPIs to executives.
Design and scale a global delivery model for a hybrid team in Canada and Pakistan.
Align services roadmap with Product releases and Sales pipeline to improve implementation velocity
Mentor and coach Solutions Consultants and Project Managers; create succession paths and development plans.
Project Management & Delivery
Establish a baseline metric for successful client implementations and drive performance to achieve at least 95% of that target, ensuring on-time and on-budget go-lives through the enforcement of standard playbooks and the use of AI-based forecasting tools.
Define project scope, schedules, and success criteria with clear milestones, risk logs, and escalation paths.
Optimize resource planning to achieve target utilization and improve gross margin.
Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
Client Engagement
Serve as executive sponsor on marquee accounts; keep Services CSAT within industry benchmarks
Act as customer advocate by channeling feedback and insights to Product, Sales, and R&D, driving timely issue resolution.
Deliver tailored executive presentations that demonstrate business value and foster expansion opportunities.
Team Development
Recruit, onboard, and coach Solutions Consultants and Project Managers, creating clear growth and succession paths.
Conduct objective performance reviews, set individual goals, and provide continuous feedback.
Foster a culture of learning and cross-training that raises team engagement and retention.
Continuous Improvement
Publish quarterly retrospectives benchmarking CSAT, margin, and utilization against SaaS peers.
Review existing and oversee development of policies, templates, and knowledge-base articles that reduce project variance by twenty percent.
Introduce AI-assisted capacity modelling and predictive analytics to support data-driven decision making.
Champion innovation and process excellence across the Professional Services organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of Professional Services leadership in B2B SaaS or cloud environments with proven P&L responsibility
Demonstrated success coaching and developing multi-disciplinary teams, including offshore or hybrid staff, with willingness to travel up to twenty percent
Strong command of SaaS delivery metrics, customer-onboarding workflows, and post-sale engagement models
Expertise in resource planning, utilization management, commercial governance, and executive-level client escalation
Fluency with AI productivity tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar to drive forecasting, knowledge sharing, and process automation
Outstanding communication, strategic-planning, and stakeholder-management skills
Legally eligible to work in Canada and comfortable with a hybrid Montreal work model
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or Agile certification, or an MBA
