The Role

Are you passionate about tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting, and ready to take your expertise outside a traditional tax environment? As a Partner Success Manager, you’ll use your technical knowledge in taxes and compliance to support our partner network—including onboarding, training, and equipping partners to deliver world-class solutions to their customers. No previous experience in customer or partner success is required—your tax experience is what matters most.

This is an ideal role for tax professionals (tax advisors, compliance specialists, or similar profiles) looking to make a transition from hands-on tax work into a more strategic, partnership-focused position.

What you'll do

  • Leverage Your Tax Expertise: Build strong relationships with our partners, providing guidance and support around Tax and Compliance Reporting solutions.
  • Onboard & Enable Partners: Help new and existing partners understand our products through practical training and enablement sessions, drawing on your own hands-on experience with tax processes.
  • Support Certification Programs: Collaborate on the development and ongoing improvement of our Partner Certification programs, ensuring they are relevant and impactful for the tax and compliance domain.
  • Partner Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them navigate technical or compliance-related challenges, and serve as their voice within Lucanet for continuous program improvement.
  • Monitor & Report Performance: Track the effectiveness of partner enablement and satisfaction measures, including leading initiatives around NPS (Net Promoter Score) and feedback surveys.
  • Process & Tool Improvements: Use your analytical mindset to recommend improvements to how we support partners, possibly including tool-based enhancements (e.g., Partner Portal, Planhat).
  • Drive Best Practices: Share feedback from the field with product and engineering teams to shape our partner service strategy and future product development.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in tax, compliance, and industry regulations, and help translate these learnings into partner education materials.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally with a focus on tax, accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Several years of hands-on experience in tax, compliance, or regulatory reporting—such as tax advisor, tax consultant, tax accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong desire to move into a partner-facing, enablement, or program management career path—no prior experience required in customer or partner success.
  • Confident communication and relationship-building skills; ability to convey complex tax concepts to non-experts.
  • Analytical and improvement-focused mindset, with a willingness to propose and execute on process enhancements.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for partner visits and industry events.
