What is this opportunity?
We’re looking for a Compliance expert to join our Product Team and help shape the future of compliance technology in behavioral health. You’ll help drive product development by designing, validating, and refining compliance rulesets, workflows, and AI training datasets. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer teams to ensure our solutions are clinically sound, operationally practical, and aligned with accreditation and payer standards.

As a Compliance expert you’ll play a key role in building Eleos Health’s next-generation Compliance product. You’ll combine your expertise in healthcare compliance, behavioral health workflows, and data-driven quality improvement with your passion for innovative technology.

How will you contribute?
- Translate CMS rules, state regulations, accreditation standards (CARF, COA, JCAHO), and payer requirements into operational workflows and actionable AI rule sets.
- Tag, refine, and validate training data to develop nuanced compliance logic using LLMs (Large Language Models).
- Provide clinical validation and subject matter expertise for AI-driven compliance prompts, nudges, and audits.
- Source, update, and maintain compliance rule libraries from authoritative standards bodies and payor documentation.
- Conduct discovery sessions with healthcare executives, CQI leaders, and clinicians to identify compliance needs and workflow pain points.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Clinical Strategy, and Engineering to ensure user needs are reflected in product functionality.
- Inform the design of practical, user-friendly compliance workflows using principles of Design Thinking and Behavioral Economics.
- Monitor changes in regulations and payer requirements to continuously evolve and future-proof compliance capabilities.
- Support internal readiness and go-to-market efforts by educating Eleos teams on compliance personas, processes, and market trends.
What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?
- Deep familiarity with behavioral health compliance frameworks (e.g., CMS, CARF, COA, JCAHO, Medicaid, commercial payors).
- Strong background in leading or supporting CQI/QA initiatives within mental health or behavioral healthcare organizations.
- Skilled in data analysis and operationalizing data-driven compliance improvements.
- Experience working with or supporting EHR systems.
- Knowledge of audit preparation, incident investigation, and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple workstreams.
- Innovative mindset with a strong empathy for end-users (clinicians, CQI teams, compliance officers).
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering or AI model training is a plus.
- Certifications such as CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) are a plus.

- The base pay range for this position is $90,000-120,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
