What you will do:

Join Eleo as a business controller, and you will be a key player in shaping our financial strategy, providing insights that drive business decisions and making sure that we achieve our company goals within the set timeline and budget.

In the current phase, a lot of things are going on as we’re in the process of launching our new battery pack product, investigating opportunities for global expansion, automizing the manufacturing line and applying for subsidies (to name a few) all having significant financial impact. This means that we are looking for someone to support decision making and giving direction, though in many cases, you will need to develop your own models and reports.


Next to the more strategic part, your job will also involve setting up and managing the FP&A process, business partnering and management reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

In your role, you will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the other members of the finance team. Of course, you will be working with many stakeholders throughout the company as well as you involve them in your processes and they need your support.  

As your job is very versatile, you won’t get bored and there are many opportunities to learn. Though, it requests the combination of being able think conceptually about strategies and business dynamics, but also be hands on in implementing processes and policies. With your help and energy, as a team we make the finance function scalable and ready for strong future growth.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis by setting up and managing the budget, forecasting and long term planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Strategic support by providing business cases/models and financial advice for strategic initiatives
  • Management reporting and KPI tracking for internal and external shareholders
  • Business partnering with team leads to provide financial guidance and support decision making
  • Risk management: identify financial risks and opportunities and contribute to risk mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Operational efficiency and process improvement

 

Requirements & qualifications

  • Education: bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Experience: a minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, business controlling or a related role, preferably in a fast-paced scale up or technology driven environment
  • Skills: strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel. Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is desirable.
  • Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Proactive & Independent: A self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Team player: collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent both written and spoken in English, to have a good understanding of Dutch is a strong plus.
