Infrastructure Engineer - devops

This is a REMOTE position. We only accept candidates located in EU, Norway, UK, and Switzerland.
A Senior/Lead Infrastructure Engineer with deep, hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms at scale. This profile emphasizes production reliability, Kubernetes expertise, and the ability to build self-service infrastructure that empowers development teams.
You must have a minimum of 10 years of professional full time experience.
Technical Skills
- IaC: Terraform (primary), Helm, Kustomize, Pulumi
- Languages: Bash/shell scripting; Python or Go for tooling automation
- Kubernetes ecosystem: ArgoCD/FluxCD, Cert-Manager, External DNS, Cluster Autoscaler
- Security: secrets management, supply-chain security (Cosign, SBOM), vulnerability scanning
- Networking: DNS, TLS, load balancers, service mesh concepts
Desired Qualities
- Platform-thinking mindset: builds for internal customers, not just operations tasks
- Strong security awareness; treats security as a first-class concern
- Collaborative with engineering teams; comfortable working close to the product
- Pragmatic about trade-offs between reliability, cost, and engineering velocity
- Proactive about keeping infrastructure up to date with evolving cloud-native ecosystem
