Job Description

You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...

  • supporting and developing our AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, Docker, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis)
  • working with the team on our primary goals: high availability, scalability, security and performance
  • managing Kubernetes infrastructure and Linux-based EC2 instances
  • solving complex technical problems with clean, sustainable solutions
  • taking over some tasks in security management and monitoring
  • supporting our build management/deployment (GitLab, Maven, Docker)
  • taking care of the development and optimisation of the CI/CD pipelines together with our developers

Our current tech stack in the SRE team is:

  • Infrastructure: Kubernetes, AWS, ArgoCD, Terraform, HAProxy, GitLab CI
  • Data storage and querying: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
  • Monitoring and performance tools: Prometheus, Datadog

Qualifications

To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

  • professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role
  • scripting skills in at least one of the following languages: Bash, Python, Go
  • in-depth knowledge of Linux and Networking
  • in-depth knowledge of the following technologies: Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, Continuous Integration, GitLab
  • a good command of written and spoken technical English
  • willingness to take part in on-call rotations

And nice to have...

  • a running or completed education in the field of computer science or engineering
  • some experience with system monitoring platforms (e.g. Prometheus, Datadog)
