Head of Partner Enablement EDI & e-invoicing (f/m/d)
Company Description
ecosio is a fast-growing, innovative service company and a leading provider of B2B integration, specializing in electronic data interchange (EDI), Web EDI and e-invoicing. ecosio is part of Vertex, Inc., a leading global provider of indirect tax solutions listed on Nasdaq (VERX).
Our brand slogan is Connections That Work as we believe strong connections are central to successful business relationships - both external and internal. At ecosio, we hire individuals from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive work environment. We are technology lovers, set the highest standards for our solutions, and put innovative ideas first.
Job Description
As Head of Partner Enablement, you will lead the transition of our partner ecosystem towards a scalable, "Plug and Play" model. Your primary goal is to standardize partner onboardings to ensure consistent quality at scale by enabling external partners (ERPs, System Integrators) to implement ecosio solutions independently.
You are accountable for the entire partner implementation lifecycle: from defining the technical enablement strategy and leading initial onboardings, to establishing governance frameworks that drive long-term partner success.
To achieve this, you will lead a dedicated team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform our internal expertise into a standardized "Partner Kit," ensuring that partners can deliver high-quality integrations without requiring dedicated internal resources for every project.
You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...
- Driving Partner Delivery Success. You will proactively ensure that every partner has the technical tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive and build a profitable service business on top of ecosio.
- Building the "Partner Kit.” You and your team be responsible for creating and maintaining assets that enable our partner to onboard customers independently (e.g. Postman collections, SAP transport files, exhaustive documentation)
- Leading the technical onboarding of new partners. You and your team will drive the initial customer projects our partners have (e.g., holding the first "Lighthouse Project" with them)
- Defining quality standards. You will build a governance gate mechanism a partner must pass (e.g., "Partner must successfully pass these 5 test cases before Go-Live")
- Building bridges, not silos. You thrive on connecting the dots between Sales, Operations, Product, and external Partners, ensuring that valuable partner insights don't get lost in translation but fuel our growth strategy.
- Acting as the escalation point. You will serve as the final line of defense for Partners when standard documentation fails, resolving blockers and feeding those learnings back into the Partner Kit.
Qualifications
To connect with ecosio it is important to have…
- 5+ years in Technical Partner Management, Enablement, or Solution Architecture. You have a track record of working with external partners (System Integrators, ERP vendors) and ensuring their technical success.
- Deep Technical Literacy in B2B/SaaS. You do not need to write code, but you must be comfortable discussing API integration patterns, ERP landscapes, and data exchange protocols (anything from Peppol to EDIFACT and back) with developers and architects.
- Proven Program Management skills. You can demonstrate how you have built a certification program, a training curriculum, or a documentation portal from scratch.
- Entrepreneurial mindset. You view the "Partner Experience" as a value driver. You measure success by adoption rates, time-to-value, and the reduction of support tickets.
- Fluency in English. It is our company language and the language of our global partner ecosystem.
And nice to have...
- Fluency in German. Since many of our key ERP partners are in the DACH region, this is a strong asset for building trust and alignment.
- Experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics D365 Business Central/F&O. Understanding the specific ecosystems of these major ERPs will help you speak the same language as our most strategic partners.
- A background in EDI or e-invoicing. If you already know the difference between an invoice and an order response, you’ll hit the ground running even faster.
- Leadership experience. Previous experience directly managing small, high-performance teams or functional guilds would be a plus.
- An established network with system integrators.
By connecting with us you will experience...
- Our remote-first culture lets you work remotely from one of our designated countries
- Flexible working hours to suit your schedule and priorities
- Annual personal development budget to invest in conferences, courses, or career coaching
- Home office allowance to create a workspace that fits your needs
- Regular events and trips to connect, celebrate, and have fun with the team
- Workations of up to 90 days per year within the EU, combining travel and productivity
- Wellbeing support, including mental health resources and employee assistance programs
- Additional country-specific benefits based on your location
