Job Description

You'll connect with the role if you enjoy...

  • being responsible for continuously evolving and improving test infrastructure
  • working with Kubernetes and the cloud-native ecosystem
  • developing and executing test plans for infrastructure including network configurations, databases and cloud-native services
  • designing and implementing chaos experiments to test the resilience and fault tolerance of distributed systems
  • working with SREs to conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability
  • actively collaborating with SRE and traditional QA teams to integrate infrastructure quality checks into the development lifecycle
  • monitoring upgrades and regression testing during the maintenance cycle
  • monitoring test suites and coordinating actions to update tests and fix regressions

Qualifications

To connect with ecosio it is important to have…

  • professional experience in the Quality Assurance field
  • profound Infrastructure and Kubernetes experience
  • solid coding experience
  • hands-on experience with chaos (failure injection) testing tools and methodologies
  • experience with the cloud native tools
  • solid knowledge of automated and manual testing
  • good command of written and spoken technical English

And nice to have...

  • a running or completed IT education (HTL, FH or university)
  • experience with Go, Python, Java and Shell scripting
  • experience with GitLab
  • experience with Terraform, Helm, kubectl, or Chaos Mesh
