THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Network and Telecoms Junior Support Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will provide first and second-line support for our network and telephony systems while learning from senior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to grow their skills in real-world network infrastructure, cloud telephony, and system administration. Out of hours work will be required to assist with maintenance, upgrades and new deployments. Ability to and willingness to travel globally to Ebury's other offices is a must.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support & Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for network and telephony issues. Diagnose and resolve tickets related to connectivity, VPN access, and voice quality.
- Device Management: Assist with the configuration and deployment of network hardware (switches, access points).
- Telephony Administration: Manage user accounts, extensions, and basic changes (MACDs) across platforms like Vonage, GoTo Connect, or Yeastar.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of Meraki network devices.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
- Project Assistance: Support the senior team in network improvement projects and the rollout of new telephony solutions.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience troubleshooting Windows, Mac OS, and Chrome OS environments
- Knowledge of VPN technologies and remote access tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn new technologies
- Solid understanding of VoIP concepts and experience with cloud telephony platforms such as Vonage, Avaya, Genesys, or Yeastar
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
Desirable (Exposure to the following is a plus):
- Cloud Telephony: Experience building, managing and maintaining cloud telephony call flows/IVRs
- Networking: Cisco Meraki, Fortinet firewalls, FreeRadius
- Cloud/Server: AWS Cloud awareness
