Junior Financial Accountant - Accounts Payable

Ebury São Paulo Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

Working as a key part of the Finance team from the Sao Paulo office, you will be responsible for processing invoices on the accounts payable side, making payments, and controlling expenses. You will ensure compliance with accounting policies and play a crucial role in financial decision-making processes.

What you’ll do

  • Executing supplier’s payments by receiving, processing and verifying the invoices.
  • Handling and resolving all vendor queries regarding finance.
  • Ensuring accuracy by reconciling processed work through verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Participating in cross-departmental projects.
  • Collaborating in the external audit process.
  • Collaborating in the implementation of new systems
  • Managing the verification of expense reports and preparation of paychecks for employees.
  • Run the bank reconciliation of corporate bank accounts

What you’ll need

  • Experienced in finance on the Accounts payable department.
  • University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP, and NAV).
  • Fluency in English. Spanish is a plus.
