Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

Join Our Data Team at Ebury Madrid Office.

Ebury is looking to add a Data Analyst to our Analytics team. You will work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and will deliver insight solutions to leverage data to drive growth across different verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and model complex business processes from Underwriting and Lending operations.
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements, analytical models, and automated solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data models using dbt to transform data into reliable, analytics-ready datasets.
  • Ownership and maintenance of data products. Solving and preventing data quality issues.
  • Act as a data-driven consultant for our Product and Business teams. Interact with key decision-makers to model potential outcomes, support the architecture of new lending products, and measure their performance post-launch.
  • Create and maintain powerful dashboards and reports in Looker and LookerStudio to monitor Key Performance Indicators, track portfolio health, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to launch new products

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience managing and querying large datasets using SQL
  • Experience using Python to manipulate data
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, a must
  • Clear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topics
  • Track record of working autonomously with organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Extreme ownership and accountability for work
  • Experience working in Financial Services, Capital Markets, Insurance a plus
  • Knowledge of football market, a plus
