Junior Financial Accountant- Accounts Receivable

Ebury Leon Office - 4 days a week office based working (1 day from home office)

As a Junior Financial Accountant - Accounts Receivable, you will work in the Finance - Accounts Receivable - department in the Leon office.

The Role

Working as part of the Finance team from our offices in León, you will be responsible for processing, verifying and reconciling invoices, plus tracking and collecting incoming payments and managing debt. Responsibilities:

  • Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Tracking and collecting incoming payments
  • Managing and reducing debt
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
  • Collaborating in the audit process
  • Cross-departmental projects

Requirements:

  • At least half a year of experience in accounting
  • Formación Profesional or University degree in Accounting, Business Management, Economics or similar
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • English (C1), Spanish (C1), other languages are a plus

Desired skills:

  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and highly reliable
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, basic accounting principles, teamwork, documentation, data analysis, and multi-tasking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Any ERP (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP and NAV) experience is a plus
