Senior QA Automation Engineer (iGaming)

Remote

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who will take responsibility for building and maintaining automated test coverage for our game clients and backend integrations. We need someone with hands-on iGaming experience who understands how game rounds work, how RTP behaves, how bets and payouts are processed, and how game APIs should function. You will ensure the stability and quality of our games before every release and help improve the overall testing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright (preferred) or Cypress.
  • Create automated coverage for game clients, including UI states, animations, round flow, lobby interactions, and API communication.
  • Build test scenarios for backend integrations, game server logic, and technical game APIs.
  • Work directly with game mechanics such as bets, wins, multipliers, and step-by-step sequence validation.
  • Verify correctness of game rounds, result generation, state rendering and gameplay consistency.
  • Analyze logs, network requests, server responses and internal game events.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure stability of test environments.
  • Build internal tools, mock services, frameworks and reporting solutions for automation.
  • Collaborate with developers, backend engineers, game designers and QA to identify and investigate issues.
  • Participate in improving product quality and testing processes optimisation.

What You Bring

  • Strong experience in test automation using Playwright or Cypress.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Required experience in iGaming or working on game-related products.
  • Understanding of game logic including bets, rounds, RTP behavior, bonus mechanics and event sequences.
  • Experience testing high-load or real-time systems.
  • Ability to work with REST APIs, WebSockets, network logs and server responses.
  • Experience automating complex UI workflows, animations and dynamic components.
  • Skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to reproduce complex issues.
  • Attention to detail and a structured approach to quality.

Nice to have

  • Experience with mock servers, stubs and testing doubles.
  • Knowledge of game protocols, aggregator APIs or operator APIs.
  • Experience working with databases, logs and scenario analysis.
  • Load testing or performance testing experience.
  • Understanding of game server architecture and RGS.
  • Experience automating mobile browsers or WebView.
  • Interest in game mechanics, math models and round behavior analysis.

What Makes Us Different

  • A startup heart with holding-level ambition: we grow fast and think big.
  • True work autonomy:  freedom to experiment, test, fail, and scale what works.
  • Zero outdated rules: no “because we’ve always done it this way” mindset; we challenge norms every day.
  • Flexible full-time setup: core hours (11–16 CET) for collaboration, the rest of the day you organize your way, keeping your manager in the loop.
  • Day-off policy that respects real life:  work should support life, not the other way around.
  • Culture of care: we look after people, not just projects or metrics.
  • Space to grow with the company: as we expand, so do your roles, skills, and responsibilities.
