Position Overview:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President – RFx Operations, the RFx Response Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for the day-to-day orchestration of activities required to execute on a customer/prospect RFx.
The RFx Response Coordinator supports the development of less complex RFx responses and manages associated operational tasks, including content updates and maintenance. This role works in conjunction with a senior RFx Manager for oversight, learning, and continuous development.
As an entry-level role, the RFx Response Coordinator position specifically targets professionals with minimal work experience, affording an opportunity to learn, develop, and demonstrate business skills, while establishing relationships that will provide access to higher-level work opportunities requiring more advanced professional experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads a RFx response process involving preparation, production, and delivery of e2open responses and supporting materials to produce client-focused documents and presentations that meet RFx requirements and are consistent with e2open sales and services process and compliant with e2open branding standards.
· Executing in accordance with standard processes, routings, roles, responsibilities, and rules of engagement for centralized management and decentralized development of RFx responses within and beyond their RFx response team.
· Contributes to the design, configuration, integration, adoption, and continuous leveraging of process-enabling Content Management (Responsive).
· Participating in the training and coaching of Sales, Presales, and other contributing personnel on RFx response submission and processing processes that drive the adoption and compliance of company policies and processes.
· Participation in and completion of all assigned training/learning/development in accordance with specified timelines. Learning plans are in accordance with formalized skills mapping and established development goals.
· Establishes, develops and maintains professional relationships with the global Sales, Presales, Product Management and Professional Services teams, internal content experts, and enabling software provider(s) (Responsive).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field highly desired and/or previous RFx experience (1-2 years’ experience in global proposal/process management).
· Strong written and verbal communication, including active listening, social skills, presentation skills, and conveying a positive attitude.
· Problem-solving skills involving creativity, research, teamwork, emotional intelligence, decision making, and an ability to work under pressure while adhering to tight timelines.
· Strong work ethic with an ability to focus on tasks and get them done in an effective manner. Related skills include organization and focus, project management, and time management.
· Ability to work as part of a team. Related skills include collaboration, critical thinking, listening, communication skills, prioritization, and time management.
· Previous RFx/proposal writing and sales proposal development/process management skills desired, but not required
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
· Extensive use of the computer, which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday.
· Placing and receiving phone calls
· Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
· May require 50% travel or more if needed.
