Learning & Development Business Partner

Profile Summary

The L&D Business Partner to design, implement, and oversee impactful learning programs that drive employee growth and organizational success. As an L&D Business Partner, you will collaborate with business leaders, HR teams, and employees to align development strategies with organizational goals, identify skill gaps, and deliver learning solutions that enhance workforce capability and engagement.

Essential responsibilities / Duties

Strategic Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by identifying current and future learning needs that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute tailored L&D strategies and programs to drive organizational performance and employee development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Partner with the business to ensure ongoing learning, including role-based curricula development, content mapping, needs and gap analysis, measurement strategy and ROI evaluation.

Program Development & Delivery

  • Project manage large scale organization wide programs and drive successful outcomes as per program guidelines. This will include designing and customizing the LMS to address an employee’s learning journey requirements unique to departments and roles.
  • Design, curate, and implement leadership development, technical skills, and behavioral training programs to address competency gaps.
  • Drive the development of learning initiatives, including e-learning, coaching, and blended learning solutions.
  • Leverage technology and modern learning methodologies to maximize learning impact.
  • Deliver/facilitate training as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with business to ensure that key stakeholder relationships are developed and maintained, business needs are addressed, and L&D provides a value added, measurable partnership
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to conduct learning needs analysis, identify key priorities, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop role specific LMS dashboards and learning plans.
  • Support leadership in succession planning, career development, and employee engagement strategies.

Performance Measurement.

  • Define measurement strategies that link the L&D programs to tangible benefits and return on investment
  • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of L&D initiatives through data analysis and feedback.
  • Continuously improve programs based on evaluation and emerging organizational needs.

Learning Culture Advocacy

  • Promote a learning culture across the organization by driving participation in programs, sharing success stories, and championing employee development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in L&D to ensure solutions remain relevant and impactful.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Learning & Development, Education or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in L&D consulting/business partnering space.

Skill / Experience required

 

  • Solid understanding of functional L&D systems and processes, instructional design, content development, training delivery and evaluation of training effectiveness education or training
  • Proficiency with learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring the impact of L&D programs.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels in the organization including rapport building with senior stakeholders in the engagement
  • Experience in design and implementation of leadership development trainings programs would be desired
  • Strong technical aptitude - proficiency in MS Office including Word, PPT and Excel.
  • Knowledge of modern learning methods, including digital, blended, and social learning approaches.
  • Ability to accept new challenges and responsibilities with enthusiasm and positivity.
  • Able to work effectively on both an individual and team basis.
