Senior Product Manager
About Dwelly
Dwelly — a UK-based, AI-enabled lettings and property management platform, that is growing through a roll-up strategy acquiring estate agencies. The company leverages two arms: i) acquiring existing letting agencies, effectively buying its highly sticky, recurring revenue-type landlords portfolios, and then ii) building a top-notch technology to automate tenant management, payments, and post-rental property maintenance. The company seamlessly integrates AI services to automate all business processes within brick-and-mortar real estate agencies, integrating them into a tech-enabled digital letting platform in two months to radically improve the user experiences and increase efficiency of the business.
We’re a fast-growing, product-focused company, backed by top-tier investors and led by a team with deep experience in real estate, technology, and operations.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and results-oriented Product Manager to come in as a second Product Manager at Dwelly. This role assumes involvement in all set of the Dwelly products as is now (Tenant Find, Property Management, Payments, LL Growth), deeply understand user personas (Tenant, Landlord, Maintenance Contractor, Dwelly Agent) and be able to drive the product roadmap and further insights into each of the products and personas. Given the early stage of the business, the role also assumes being involved in structuring some of the basic product processes, product roadmap, regular sprints, and building a collaboration process with the operations team.
Our current engineering team is a team of 10 (both on the development front and data migration from CRMs of acquired agencies), a few analysts and one product designer. You’ll work and lead the team to take the current hyper-functional, quite basic “MVP” of the product that just prioritises “getting job done” across all domains – to the next level, introducing an ROI-based decision making, starting to address different deeper needs of different user personas etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User Research & Customer Insights
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and market research to understand customer pain points.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed product decisions.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the company.
2. Product Development & Execution
- Identify key customer problems and market opportunities.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, integrations & operations teams to translate requirements into product features.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Lead the product development process, from ideation to launch and iteration.
3. Product Performance
- Introduce, define and track key success metrics to measure product performance.
- Working closely with the operations team to roll-out new changes / re-educate the teams on the product adoption.
4. Product Process Building
- Define workflows, documentation, and decision-making frameworks.
- Introduce Product roadmap, Rollout schedule, Release demos etc.
Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Experience: recently 2-3 years in product roles, ideally with at least 2-3 more ops experience (either as a consulting background - Senior Analyst or Associate level; or Operations Manager in operational businesses). Strong experience in structured environments with product-led culture.
- Skills: Exceptionally organised, analytically minded, and detail-oriented; Exceptional people skills to communicate to different stakeholders.
- Experience in operational tech businesses, with a demonstrated ability to develop new processes and products from scratch.
- Combined mileage in both, more structured settings as well as early stage startups - to not be surprised by the lack of structure at the moment of joining.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a “get things done” attitude and excellent attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary with the potential for equity options based on performance, recognising exceptional contributions to our integration success.
What is it like being a Dwell-er?
Feel free to check out Dwelly Core Principles. That’s about what we believe in, how we operate and make decisions.
What we offer is not a fancy office or a static workplace. Instead, this is solving one of worlds’ most complex problems in the largest consumer industry in the world (residential rentals), to improve the experience for >30% of households (>5M in the UK, and >100M including EU and US) that live in rental homes.
This is about disrupting the largest, most antiquated industry in the world, with one of the strongest operational and technical teams that exist in the UK and the EU. We work hard, and we shoot for extremely ambitious results. But we want people to be proud of what they’ve built and be able to look back and say one day “hell yeah, that was me that did it all”.
- Customer obsession rather than competitive focus
- Passion for invention
- Operational excellence
- Long-term thinking
