Senior Business Analyst & PMO
About Us
Duco is on a mission to reduce the time spent on data-related work by 90%. Our enterprise data automation platform empowers teams to work more efficiently and meaningfully by giving them the ability to automate data controls with the latest technology, such as no-code, the cloud, and AI.
We help firms to start trusting their data, by giving them one intuitive platform to automate the front-to-back processing of all kinds of data (from structured Excels and RTFs to unstructured PDFs and emails). This eliminates the boring manual work across the data lifecycle and enables firms to act faster, work smarter, save money, reduce risk and comply with regulatory requirements.
We’re headquartered in London and have offices in New York, Wroclaw, Singapore, and Antwerp. We’re proud to call some of the largest global financial institutions our clients, including over 15 of the world’s largest international banks, as well as brokers, exchanges, asset managers, hedge funds, administrators, service providers and corporates.
About the role
The Senior Business Operations Analyst & PMO Manager is a strategic cross-functional and delivery-focused role inside Duco Operations, reporting directly to the COO. This role exists to build and run the programme management discipline that underpins Duco's company-wide priorities and major cross-functional initiatives.
Strong, hands-on PMO and project management capability is mandatory for this role. This is a programme delivery role in which business analysis is a highly valued, necessary skill.
The role owns the operating rhythm and tracking infrastructure that gives the COO, ExCo, and cross-functional steering committees real-time visibility into progress, risk, and dependencies across the programmes. The Senior Business Analyst & PMO, will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to define business requirements, deliver actionable insights, and lead complex projects from conception to execution. This role will lead high-visibility programmes directly, including Project Atlas (Duco's internal AI operating model programme), Agentic Client Journey rollout, Procurement Excellence & SaaS Cost Control, PMO platform rollout, Duco's ESG reporting and carbon programme, and more. This global role requires a proactive, strategic mindset, excellent communication, and a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What you will be working on
PMO & Programme Governance (mandatory core of this role)
- Own and continuously improve Duco's programme and portfolio tracking model, ensuring every initiative has a clear owner, milestone, RAG status, and dependency map.
- Run the weekly and monthly reporting cadence for the three company-wide priorities: consolidate status updates, chase owners for accurate RAG, and flag initiatives that are off track before they become critical.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and rollout of a formal PMO tool (e.g. Asana) to replace manual tracking, including migration of existing programme and task data.
- Prepare governance materials and pre-reads for cross-functional steering committees, and track actions and decisions to closure between sessions.
- Build and maintain a live risk and dependency register across the three priorities, escalating material risks with a recommendation attached, not just a description of the problem.
- Establish repeatable programme management frameworks, templates, and ways of working that other functions can adopt.
Programme & Project Delivery
- Directly lead select high-priority programmes end to end, including Project Atlas, the Agentic Client Journey rollout, Procurement Excellence & SaaS Cost Control, and Executive and Central Business Intelligence.
- Manage the full lifecycle of complex programs and projects, including scoping, planning, resource coordination, execution, and communication.
- Build and document comprehensive project plans: scope, objectives, milestones, resourcing, and success criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and unblock dependencies proactively, without waiting to be asked.
Business Analysis & Strategic Insights
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements to identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct data gathering and analysis to generate actionable insight that informs prioritisation and steering committee decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Client Success, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Business Systems) to ensure solutions meet real business needs and user requirements.
- Maintain reporting dashboards, metrics, and KPIs that track both programme delivery and underlying business performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a trusted operator between the COO, senior stakeholders, and delivery teams, translating strategic intent into executable plans.
- Influence senior stakeholders to prioritise, resource, and commit to timelines, and hold them accountable for what they have agreed.
- Present programme status, risks, and insights to senior leadership clearly and concisely, without needing to be chased for the update.
- Establish check-ins and reporting mechanisms that make progress and risk visible without manual chasing.
ESG Programme Ownership
- Act as the accountable owner for Duco's ESG reporting and carbon programme, partnering with Hollie (Programme Manager) on day-to-day delivery, with the CFO as executive sponsor and Global Head of Rev Ops as an advisor.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and manage Duco's annual reporting motions including: annual ESG report, UNGC Communication on Progress, Nordic Capital's ESG assessment, EcoVadis, and SBTis.
- Own the Persefoni platform relationship: ensure carbon data inputs are current, methodology is sound, and outputs are board-ready.
- Manage the EcoVadis assessment process: prepare Duco's submission, track scoring, and drive year-on-year improvement.
- Escalate ESG risks, timeline slippage, or resourcing gaps to the CFO promptly, with a recommendation attached.

- Stakeholder Management: proven ability to influence and hold senior, cross-functional stakeholders accountable without formal authority over them.
- Analytical Mindset: advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations, not just reporting.
- Strategic Thinking: ability to connect tactical programme activity to Duco's three company-wide priorities.
- Communication & Collaboration: excellent written and verbal communication, with experience preparing materials for senior leadership and steering committees.
- Adaptability & Proactivity: comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to build the artefact the business needs rather than the one that is easiest to build.

- 5+ years of combined experience in programme/project management and business analysis, including at least 4 years in a dedicated PMO or programme management capacity, idealy within an operations, technology, or PE-backed environment.
Bonus points if you also have:
