Professional Services Consultant

Clockwise Antwerp Maritiem Huis 7-13, Olijftakstraat, 2060 Antwerpen, Belgium

About Us

Duco is on a mission to reduce the time spent on data-related work by 90%. Our enterprise data automation platform empowers teams to work more efficiently and meaningfully by giving them the ability to automate data controls with the latest technology, such as no-code, the cloud, and AI.

We help firms to start trusting their data, by giving them one intuitive platform to automate the front-to-back processing of all kinds of data (from structured Excels and RTFs to unstructured PDFs and emails). This eliminates the boring manual work across the data lifecycle and enables firms to act faster, work smarter, save money, reduce risk and comply with regulatory requirements.

We’re headquartered in London and have offices in New York, Wroclaw, Singapore, and Antwerp. We’re proud to call some of the largest global financial institutions our clients, including over 15 of the world’s largest international banks, as well as brokers, exchanges, asset managers, hedge funds, administrators, service providers and corporates.

About the role

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be at the heart of delivering Duco's intelligent document processing and data reconciliation solutions to our clients, right as we push those solutions further into agentic AI. You will work closely with clients and Project Managers to understand their requirements, configure the Duco platform, and guide the iterative training of our ML models until they deliver real, measurable value.

This is hands-on, collaborative work with the AI itself, not just the platform around it. Every model you help train and every workflow you refine supports Duco's move towards smarter, more automated, agentic capabilities: less manual intervention, better outcomes for clients, and a meaningful role for the people, like you, who help teach it how to get there.

You will engage directly with both financial and non-financial clients, bringing a consultative, collaborative mindset to every engagement. You will guide pre-scoping exercises together with clients, translate their needs into technical solutions, and share ownership of the hands-on configuration and implementation work. You are equally comfortable discussing data models with engineers, solution consultants, and project managers, and connecting the dots between them.

Our Antwerp office is at the forefront of some of Duco's most advanced, ML-powered intelligent document processing solutions. This role is based there so you can work closely and supportively with our specialist local team, while also connecting with and contributing to the wider Global Professional Services community.

What you will be working on

  • Conducting pre-scoping exercises with clients to understand their data, processes, and business requirements
  • Hands-on configuration of the Duco platform, including defining how data is extracted, business rules, and output mappings
  • Iterative training and validation of ML models, continuously improving accuracy and coverage, and supporting client use cases as they move toward more automated, agentic operation
  • Collaborating with client-side engineers and our own engineering team on custom integrations and bespoke configuration
  • Supporting Project Managers with technical input on planning, scoping, and change management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and ambassador for Duco, collecting client feedback that directly influences our AI product roadmap

The reward package

  • Competitive salary package aligned with your skills and experience, reviewed annually
  • Performance-based bonus payments
  • Group life insurance and pension plan by AXA
  • Hospitalisation Insurance by ALAN (Delight Programme)
  • Company car or tax-free mobility budget
  • Enhanced family leave provisions
  • Unlimited annual holiday, because we trust our people to manage their own time off
  • Company phone and subscription by Orange
  • Lunch allowance (meal vouchers)
  • 4 volunteering days off
  • Flexible working policy (2 days per week in office)
  • Opportunity to work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year

So… what do you think?

This is what you'll need to be successful

  • A proven ability to conduct requirements workshops and translate unstructured client needs into clear technical specifications
  • Experience managing client relationships, running workshops and demos, and communicating clearly with both technical and business stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of data structures, data models, and data transformation concepts, so you can reason about what a system can and cannot consume or produce
  • Hands-on experience configuring or implementing SaaS platforms, ideally in a Professional Services or consultancy setting
  • Experience working with AI or ML-powered solutions, including model training, validation cycles, and iterative improvement workflows
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • A solid grasp of software systems, APIs, and integrations; you can read a script and hold a meaningful technical conversation
  • Strong data literacy: comfortable with schemas, data flows, and refining data models against platform constraints
  • A consultative, collaborative client approach: you ask thoughtful questions, explore assumptions together, and guide clients to practical solutions
  • The ability to juggle multiple engagements, prioritise, and escalate blockers early
  • A team-first mindset: you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Client Success, Account Managers, and Sales to deliver outcomes

Nice to haves

  • A background in machine learning, NLP, or computer vision, particularly relevant to document understanding use cases
  • Scripting ability in Python or another language, so you can prototype small data transformations and check your own results with confidence
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly back and middle office operations, reconciliation, or document-heavy processes
