The Role
We have expanded our Professional Services team to include US & EMEA Commercial Leads. These roles will help to achieve our ambitions of growing the Professional Services business within DUCO to the size and scale the company requires to succeed in the next phase of our journey.
You will provide commercial support to all Americas pipeline deals in order to ensure the ambition of positioning a PS component to all sales going forward can be realised. Responsibilities will include high proficiency in positioning our services solutions and client success stories within deal teams.
Primary Responsibilities:

- You will be a trusted customer partner, helping our clients to understand their data needs, data challenges, capture requirements, and build new workflows, analytics and solutions for operational controls. Your expertise will enable us to find solutions that help clients go faster, make better decisions and overcome problems, while building their own knowledge so in the future they can do more themselves. You will be a billable asset, involved in multiple simultaneous projects with a variety of clients.

Have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate how they are applied within a professional services environment. Excellent communication skills are a must. Technical skills should complement your problem-solving and communication skills. In addition, you must be capable of adding real value individually and through a team.

You should additionally possess strong business knowledge of investment accounting/reconciliations; at least for fundamental reconciliations processes of positions, transactions and cash, is essential. Additionally, you will have first hand experience of post-trade operational control frameworks within client environments.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and business processes as required.
We are looking for someone with:
- 10+ years of experience across either financial services firms, professional services firms and SaaS software services businesses.
- Experience with Enterprise customers, including large scale and complex technology implementations and migrations.
- Proficiency in collaborating with sales teams and positioning professional services in a commercial capacity to potential senior buyers, including pricing and packaging for either custom client deals or inputting to structured processes such as RFP responses.
- Executive presence in presenting to individuals or groups at senior levels of our clients’ organisations including being able to run meetings and workshops.
- Knowledge of financial products and the financial industry. E.g.: Trades, valuations, collateral, payments, asset classes such as Equities, Interest Rates, FX, Credit, etc.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, understand business processes, and adapt to a fast paced growth company.
- Previous experience in working with users and project teams to design and implement custom/bespoke solutions.
- Excellent demonstrable communication and leadership skills
- Working cross functionally with GTM and Engineering teams focused on continuous service improvement, including best practice playbooks and capabilities roadmap contribution.
- Comfortable with respectfully challenging the norm, and offering alternative approaches to solving problems.
- Strong and positive attitude, to encourage strong team culture and to ensure focus on the highest value-at-stake priorities
- High level of drive to meet aggressive deadlines and targets
- Ability to execute role with a high level of autonomy, seeking guidance and approval as appropriate
- Tenacious and able to challenge the norm / suggest viable alternative approaches
