The Role
This role is for an Accountant who will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting. They’ll be joining our collaborative Finance team, working closely with colleagues across the business. The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes as we continue to scale.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Prepare and maintain financial records, journals, and reconciliations
- Support the preparation of financial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting policies
- Work closely with the wider Finance team and business to support day-to-day financial operations
- Support process improvements and contribute to scaling finance operations as the business grows
- Working with auditors on year end related queries
- Manage 1 junior accountant
We are looking for someone with:
- ACCA/CIMA finalist or qualified
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for getting the numbers right
- Mandatory experience of Netsuite
- Experience working in a fast-paced finance or accounting role (ideally within a growing business)
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities - A collaborative mindset, someone who enjoys working with different teams and solving problems
