The Role
The Senior Solution Consultant (SC) at Duco is an experienced partner for clients and prospects, skilled in crafting solutions for complex business problems with compelling value propositions. You will play a critical role in helping clients realise the full potential of Duco’s solutions. Continuously collaborating with clients, the SC excels in understanding their objectives, business initiatives, challenges, and operational infrastructure to create transformative solutions. Your goal is to ensure that customers gain tangible ROI from their investment in Duco’s product while fostering long-term partnership.
The Senior Solution Consultant role at Duco is a multifaceted and dynamic position that is an essential part of the customer journey with a focus on selling motions on both existing customers and prospects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with clients and prospects by leading value based discovery & consultative solution evaluation processes translating these into opportunities for value creation using Duco’s solutions.
- Value proposition: Articulate the value proposition of Duco’s platform and services clearly, ensuring clients understand how it improves their efficiency, reduces risk and provides a strong return on investment
- Business Case Development: Develop and present business cases that outline how Duco’s solutions will deliver measurable business outcomes
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with the Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success and Product teams, by providing the Subject Matter Expertise and strategic input throughout the sales and implementation cycles, ensuring that the proposed solutions align with client goals and deliver measurable value.
- Solution Evaluations: lead and manage a variety of solution evaluations, from customised product demonstrations to proof of concept, proof of value and pilots ensuring these are well structured and executed and are providing tangible outcomes for the sales process
- Sales enablement: provide input to the sales team to support the creation of proposals and other documentation, ensuring they accurately reflect the value proposition offered
We are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working in Financial Services industry, preferably within Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Capital Markets or similar business exposure,
- Expertise within Financial Services industry, it’s operational processes, understanding of the interplay between different business domains (functional, data, business) and its impact on value chains
- Experience with business initiatives related to complex, multi-tiered transformations projects
- Proven experience as a Business or Management Consultant, Value Consultant, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar role and a understanding of B2B selling into complex, multi-layered financial organisations
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and contribute at various stages of the enterprise sales cycle, from discovery and needs assessment to technical demonstrations and solution design
- Superb skills in organisation, communications, process thinking, directing work through others, initiative, building relationships and trust, and consensus building
- Ability to create presentations that are clear and impactful, translating solutions into meaningful value propositions for clients
- Ability to travel 30% (mainly within London but across the UK and EU as well)
