Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a technically proficient OT Network Analyst with strong expertise in virtualisation and cyber defence to join CyTEC. You should have hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms, competency in enterprise IT infrastructure, and the ability to deploy virtual networks for training purposes. We seek someone who can serve as a technical expert while staying current with emerging cyber threats, contributing to Singapore's cyber defence capabilities through innovative training solutions at our world-class facility.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in building IT aspects of exercise networks and cyber defence toolsets for CyTEC training programmes
  • Oversee maintenance of computing and networking infrastructure housed within CyTEC facilities
  • Lead a team and act as main technical expert in building virtual networks using hypervisor and virtualisation solutions such as ESXi and VMware
  • Integrate virtual networks with operational technology testbeds, prototypes, and digital twins to create comprehensive training environments
  • Stay current with emerging IT developments to ensure CyTEC's systems remain ahead of anticipated SAF operational requirements
  • Enable expedient development of relevant training networks when new operational needs arise
  • Create and maintain realistic training environments that simulate the complexities of defending IT systems in operational contexts

 

What You Will Bring

  • Education in Computer Networks, Computer Science, or related cyber disciplines, or relevant certifications (CCENT, Network+, CCNP, GDAT, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GREM, GPEN, GXPN, OSCP, OSCE)
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in networking and server administration using Windows and Linux
  • Experience in using software programming like Python, create networks using virtual machines, use of pen-testing tools like Kali-Linux, use of incidence response tools like Encase, and generic cyber Security Ops Centre tools like Splunk or Elastic Search.
  • Demonstrated competency in enterprise IT infrastructure including computer, networking, and virtualisation technologies
  • Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware and ESXi
  • Ability to deploy and manage virtual and segmented IT networks for training or exercise purposes
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of cyber defence, monitoring, and investigation tools
  • Experience supporting cyber exercises, testbeds, or training environments
  • Relevant networking and virtualisation certifications such as CCNA or VMware Certified Professional (advantageous)
